Abstract

This GMP for Feed is developed to establish a feed safety system for animals, taking into account relevant aspects of animal health and the environment in order to minimize risks to human health. It also takes into account relevant aspects of the international requirements to ensure food safety. It also outlines the minimum standards of hygiene and sanitation,quality assurance and feed safety set by Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) to be adopted by the plants to fulfi ll the requirements of the Feed Act 2009 which is in force to ensure the production of safe, clean and wholesome food of animal origin.
