Abstract
In two months' time, my eldest son, Tunku Ismail ibni Sultan Ibrahim, the Tunku Mahkota of Johor, will celebrate his 33rd birthday, InshaAllah.My dearest Ismail, You are our eldest child. Your father had to be at your great-aunt's house because it was Hari Raya, so he could not be there at your birth. But he cried tears of joy when he was told about your birth. As I look back at the last three very difficult years - from the time that your younger brother, Jalil, was diagnosed with kidney cancer, until the time he passed away and you, your brothers and your father buried him; during the times we were happy when you were married; and to today, when you gave your father and I our little ray of sunshine : your daughter, Khalsom - I can only give thanks to Allah SWT and say Alhamdulillah, for giving you to us as our son because you have given your father and I your undivided love; and you gave us your strength and support to cope when we lost Jalil. I pray that Allah SWT will bless you always. I pray too that our famly bond will remain forever strong. Thank you, my son, for all that you've done for us. I love you, Mama.
