Abstract
This book on the future directions of Biomedical Science Programmes and Education in Malaysia is the joint contribution of numerous personnel, institutes and entities. I greatly appreciate the move by the Ministry of Higher Education in initiating this project. It is evident that the Ministry is committed to producing quality, world-class Biomedical Science graduates. One of the main reasons for the need to look into the future directions of Biomedical Science is the lack of standardization in the level and quality of graduates produced by various Malaysian institutes, particularly some private institutes.
