Abstract
I first met Puan Norizan Sulong at Hospis Malaysia during the visit by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in September 2012. A few weeks later, I received an email from Dr Ednin Hamzah of Hospis Malaysia informing me that Zakwan (Puan Norizan’s son) was getting worse. I asked him to ask her for her permission to visit Zakwan. She said yes. So the next day I flew to KL. My late son, Almarhum Tunku Laksamana, who was still undergoing police training, insisted he wanted to accompany me. So both of us saw Zakwan during his last moments before he passed away. I remember thinking how did Puan Norizan cope losing her son.
