Abstract
I was honoured to have Almarhum Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, the then Yang DiPertuan Agong, consent to launch my book "On Common Ground". It meant a lot to me because I felt that from the time my older brother, Raja DiHilir Perak, married his daughter, Tunku Soraya, Raja Puan Muda Perak, our families were connected, and we shared both happy and sad times together.
