Abstract
The presence of the Dato Mufti of Johor, The Honourable Sohibus Samahah Dato' Haji M. Tahrir bin Dato' Kiyai Haji Samsudin and The Honourable Dato’ Haji Noh bin Gadut, the Islamic Religious Council Advisor for the State of Johor (MAIJ) at Tuan Sugumaran Raman's son's wedding proves that while others elsewhere are trying to divide our different communities and cause disunity, it is different here in Johor. The attendance of two very senior Muslim officials from the Mufti office of Johor and Islamic Religious Council of Johor at an Indian wedding shows that they are practising the true Islamic values of mutual acceptance and respect, and of honouring friendship.
